How do I return an item?
30-Day Return Privilege
If you request a refund within 30 days after signing up for an Active Online service or within 30 days after the shipping date of an Active Online product, Active Online will refund your purchase price in full for any reason subject to these terms and conditions.
Refund of the amount paid, less shipping and handling if any, for a particular Active Online Inc. product or service ("Active Product") is available one time to the original purchaser. No refund is available under this Privilege if the purchaser or any employee or partner of the firm of the purchaser has previously returned the same Active Product.
You may request a full refund under this 30-Day Return Privilege, less shipping and handling if any, by contacting Active Online at 800.922.1120 or at info@activeonlinebackup.com or at Active Online Inc., 5200 Willson Road, Suite 150, Edina, MN 55424, to obtain an RMA number. In order to guard against fraud, we officially require that you request a refund via US Mail or other carrier, but we will gladly waive that requirement and promptly issue a refund if you contact us by telephone and we are satisfied that your request is genuine. You may qualify for a refund in one of two ways, though we will gladly waive one or more of these requirements if you call or e-mail us and we are satisfied that your request for a refund is genuine: 1) If you received no physical shipment, then send to Active Online via US Mail, or other carrier, using a method that provides proof of delivery, a written, signed request for a refund together with dated proof of purchase acceptable to Active Online, such as a print-out of a receipt or invoice; 2) If you received a physical shipment, then send (a) dated proof of purchase acceptable to Active Online, (b) a written, signed request for a refund, (c) the Active Product, and (d) the RMA number clearly appearing on the outside of the package using a shipment method that provides for proof of delivery. If you received a physical shipment, you must include the media, all manuals, materials, and packaging. In either case, you are required to uninstall the Active Product, delete the Active Product from all writable media, destroy every backup copy of the Activate Product, and ensure that your request and any returned Active Product are sent to Active Online within thirty calendar days of the Shipping Date, defined as (a) the date on which Active Online or its agent shipped the physical Active Product, or (b) the date that Active Online or its agent electronically sent the Active Product, or (c) the earliest date on which the customer was permitted to electronically download the Active Product, whichever is earliest. Also ensure that your request and any returned materials are delivered to Active Online no later than thirty calendar days after the Shipping Date as defined above. You will receive a full refund less shipping and handling within thirty days of receipt of your request if you have fully complied with these return requirements
There is no 30-Day Return Privilege, and such Privilege shall be deemed null and void, if there is any evidence of an attempt to remove the Active Product serial number, decompile, reverse engineer, modify, develop derivative products from, or otherwise violate the Active Online Product License Agreement.
